WCVIS Commercial Director (NY-CD1-2024) 


Position: Commercial Director
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Reports to: Global Creative Director

Role:

The Commercial Director at Winston Cuevas Visual Image Studio (WCVIS) will drive the commercial strategy and business development initiatives across various luxury domains, including jewelry, fine spirits, fashion, and accessories. This role involves working directly with the Global Creative Director, Winston Cuevas, to identify and secure high-concept agreements with luxury executives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the studio’s market presence.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to align commercial goals with creative direction.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial agreements.
  • Oversee market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Work in a highly sensitive way with various time zones, ensuring seamless operations across New York, Paris, and Tokyo.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a commercial role within the luxury goods industry.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative and fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate across different time zones.

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses.
